All things Ovia at the Scolmore HQ in Tamworth

Our director Danny was invited down to Ovia at the Scolmore HQ in Tamworth to get an exciting first look at both brand new and current Ovia products.

He got a fantastic inside look into their factory and saw hundreds of products varying from wall lights, down lights, bulkheads to bollard lighting.

Mike Collins and Reg Oldrey spoke through lots of different products equipping our director Danny with lots of knowledge to ensure we are getting the best out of these products for our clients and upcoming jobs!

A visit from Milwaukee…

We had another exciting visit from James and Danny from Milwaukee at the beginning of July.

These visits are always incredibly useful and a great insight into the new products on the market that will make our electricians life just that little bit easier!

Having access to trial out the tools before purchasing for the whole team means we can trial and test for certain projects, especially for our specific teams who cover industrial maintenance. Receiving their feedback helps us to decide what products to invest in and the Milwaukee team are able to guide us in making sure we select what’s best for us!

Viridian Solar practical training

Viridian Solar is a UK-based manufacturer of roof integrated solar panels. Their Clearline Fusion range of photovoltaic (electric) solar panels fit in the roof and take building integration of solar to the next level.

Our Director Nathan and Project Manager Pat had the opportunity to visit Viridian’s HQ near Cambridge where all their solar products are designed – for some valuable hands on training!

They was coached through the installation process which gave them both a better understanding of the products, the tools and items needed to instal and a rough estimate of the time it takes to complete roof integration solar panels.

Lots to celebrate!

July was a month of lots of achievements and celebrations within the Prowired team!

Our office administrator Kayleigh not only passed her driving test first time but also passed her apprenticeship theory exam! On top of this Harry L’s hard work all finally paid off as he received his gold card this month!
