School Bollard and Wall Lights Install!
This month, we were entrusted with the task of executing an LED lighting upgrade for a local school based in Leysdown. Our team provided and installed brand new LED Bollard Light fittings to enhance the illumination of their external pathway. In addition, we also incorporated new LED Wall lights to ensure sufficient lighting for the external footpath. In line with our client’s priorities, we ensured that we provided the best lighting solution with the lowest running costs, paving the way for significant energy cost savings in the future.
To achieve this, we replaced the existing bollards with modern-styled Leo Bollards from Ansells and installed Ansells Panther bulkheads along the fence. As part of our comprehensive solution, we installed a new 6 amp circuit supply to the existing distribution board. We ran the armoured cable cleated to the external wall, across the footpath on cable tray, and supported it with Unistrut to connect the LED wall lights. Great job team!
LMR Geartech Lighting Install!
During this month, our team accomplished the successful installation of LED panels in the recently constructed mezzanine floor of LMR Geartech in Sittingbourne. Collaborating with Ovia, we carefully designed the lighting scheme for the new space, taking into account the need for optimal brightness while ensuring a low running cost.
To fulfill these requirements, we opted for Ovia’s efficient 600mm x 600mm 30W Inceptor Slate Backlit panels. To streamline the lighting control, we decided to supply the panels from the fuse board located in the corner of the warehouse. We also incorporated a 1 gang switch and an emergency key switch to manage all the lighting on a single switch line, ensuring efficient and convenient operation. Well done team!
