Introduction
Prowired Electrical was commissioned to deliver the complete electrical installation for four newly built bungalows at White House Farm, a picturesque residential development in Maidstone, Kent. This project required a comprehensive approach to ensure all homes were fully equipped with modern electrical systems, ventilation solutions, renewable energy features, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, providing comfortable and future-ready living spaces.
The installation was carried out between August and April, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality workmanship that aligned with the client’s vision and accommodated the unique requirements of the site.
Scope of Work
Electrical Installation
- Full first and second fix cabling across all four bungalows
- Installation of central heating systems, final electrical connections, and television aerials
- Comprehensive fit out to ensure each home was habitable and complied with relevant regulations
Ventilation Systems
- Installation of advanced ventilation systems to maintain air quality and comfort
- Safe and compliant ducting, isolation units, and switching for optimal performance
Renewable and Smart Features
- Installation of EO Mini Pro Three electric vehicle chargers providing smart charging capabilities with in-built protective measures, eliminating the need for earth rods
- Ovia downlighters to ensure energy-efficient and modern lighting
- Aico smoke, heat, and carbon monoxide alarms for enhanced safety and regulatory compliance
Photovoltaic Installation
- Fitting of three hundred and thirty-five-watt Viridian Clearline Fusion solar panels, with one kilowatt provided for each house
- Use of portrait flashing kits ensured a seamless and tidy in roof installation
- Installation of Growatt TLX single-phase inverter units
- All works fully compliant with G ninety eight regulations as systems remained below the three point six kilowatt threshold
Testing and Certification
- Thorough testing of all electrical circuits to British Standard seventy six seventy one
- Comprehensive certification issued for each bungalow, giving full compliance and peace of mind for the client
