Our team was commissioned by G2 Energy to support the installation of a 50MW battery storage plant. The project required close coordination with designers, strict adherence to schedules, and compliance with stringent regulations to ensure seamless integration of the energy storage system.
Despite facing challenges such as design revisions and the complexity of working with multiple equipment types, we successfully delivered the project to meet the client’s specifications and deadlines.
Our works included the following services:
- Design Collaboration: Conducted numerous meetings with designers to accommodate multiple changes in drawings and specifications, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Containment Installation: installed containment solutions including ladder racks, cable trays, basket trays, and conduit systems.
- Cabling Infrastructure: Designed, supplied, and tested a GRP enclosure to house the main 1250-amp switchboard, 33kV switchboard, batteries, chargers, and switchgear protection.
- Battery Integration: Installed and connected all battery modules within designated containers, ensuring seamless integration with the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)
- Earthing System Installation: Designed and implemented underground and above-ground earthing systems to meet safety and compliance standards.
- Cross-Connections: Completed Intricate cross-connections between all equipment, ensuring interoperability and alignment with design schematics.
- Labelling and Documentation: Carried out detailed labelling of all connections to simplify maintenance and align with the schematics provided.
- Final Testing and Commissioning: Performed rigorous testing and commissioning of the entire LV electrical installation to ensure optimal performance.
